It has been an incredible year for SLR and we have even more to come before the end of the year. Some of the game-changing projects and features we’ve been working on will finally materialize in the next few months. Here is the SLR End of 2023 Roadmap.
This is a major undertaking as all features need to work seamlessly across all the channels that the SLR platforms works with, including the native SLR app and the smartphone app under Unity. And for WebXR, SLR needs to work perfectly across web for both smartphone and desktop (ideally, we want to use separate UIs for each), and the Meta browser VR experience.
The dedicated SLR app is being depreciated as we consolidate and streamline our efforts into the DeoVR app, giving us the ability to bring you the same excellent streaming standards as before, and pushing them even further.
Haptics Connect will be launching in November. This smartphone video app will greatly improve the experience of watching SLR on your phone. We're developing Region of Interest tracking to seamlessly track the action from the best angle automatically.
Here are the other exciting features we are working on:
- Quest 3 support soon after its release on October 10
- Under-the-hood improvements for faster app response, faster UI and faster content loading
- Bluetooth integration with Kiiroo and other sex toys, so Haptics Connect won't be required
ETA Nov. - A cross-platform experience where you can launch any video in the app from your smartphone onto your desktop (Control My Headset)
- Under-the-hood improvements to 6DOF, enabling it to connect with Passthrough
- Custom backgrounds for Passthrough scenes
The goal is for every video to have Passthrough, similar to the Zoom and Meet background blur feature.
ETA late Sept. - Build Your Own Journey The smartphone release will be especially exciting. More details to come.
ETA Oct. - Chat, share recommendations and have fun with other SLR users in the SLR lobby with up to 1,000 users at a time

- Live streaming haptics (control my sex toy) for the multiuser feature
Our team is hard at work creating public documentation for all the above so you can understand how these features all work and get up and running quickly and easily.
The ultimate goal is to have seamless integration between: interactive haptic sex toys, the VR app, the smartphone app and the web browser. A complete ecosystem that works together smoothly, like the best of Apple. This also applies to features such as BYOJ - they will all connect and work beautifully together. After this, we intend to introduce full-scale multiuser functionality.
