The Playstation VR2 headset was released in late February 2023, receiving positive reviews for delivering a high-quality VR gaming experience to the mainstream. Back then it was a poor choice for VR porn as Playstation did not support DeoVR (required to access SLR). However, now Sony has released an adaptor so users can use the PSVR2 headset with PCVR - this means DeoVR and SLR can be accessed through SteamVR.

• You will need the PSVR2 to PC adapter (This adapter allows you to connect the PSVR2 to act as a PCVR headset)
• Set up the dongle to connect your PSVR2 headset to your PC
• Access the DeoVR app through SteamVR via PCVR
• Enter is-admins.ru in the browser for full access to SLR

Important: Currently, the only way to use the DeoVR app is with the PS5 DualSense Controller (there are issues with the Bluetooth PSVR2 controllers)

Is the PSVR2 and adaptor any good for VR porn in PCVR? 

The PSVR2 and PS5 are not suitable for VR porn. DeoVR is not available on Sony's locked-down platform. However, the adaptor means the PSVR2 can be used as a PCVR HMD. But is it any good? 

Pros: 

• OLED screens mean the colors on the PSVR2 are exceptional: Vivid colours, 3x brightness and OLED blacks
• Nice design and comfortable to use 

Cons: 

• Cannot use the PSVR2 controllers - limited to the PS5 gamepad 
• Key features such as eye tracking, HDR, headset haptics and adaptive triggers are currently disabled on PC
• Wired connection
• Fresnel lenses mean you need to find the sweet spot, plus there are issues with clarity compared to the Quest 3 pancake lenses
• More expensive than the Quest 3
